Continuous and gradual improvement, with emphasis on strengthening basic technique

Music is always along with us. It may flow as melody from the ice cream truck, background music from the cinema and radio, and voice of choir from the church, it closely connects with our daily life irrespective of its form is in pop or classical. As a piano teacher, I hope to lead you or your kid to love classical music, to foster love to things of beauty, to enhance musical sense and to get relaxation from the busy life. I also hope to direct my students to the essential elements of music, and use what they learn to admire music.

Teaching Principle

1. Design a suitable course for students in accordance with their age and graded level, and lay stress on continuous and gradual improvement, with emphasis on strengthening basic skills.
   
   
2. Based on the teacher’s music knowledge and principle to prepare for students training materials and plan for them flexible schedule of training according to their learning state.
   
   
3. Stress on in-depth sensation to music, enhancement of personality and bringing enlightenment for students to love music.
   
   
4. Adopt an integrated and balanced teaching approach by suitably combining training content of general music knowledge, piano performance and music appreciation etc.
   
   
5. Teacher accepts student comment, advocates interactive learning and encourages two-way communication between teacher and students.
